And... another blog, and a farewell of sorts

I might be crazy considering my previous track record, but I am starting a second blog in addition to the Frugal Hobbyist, where I can blog freely on life and faith, similar to as I have done here, but the scope will be larger. It has been a long journey since I started this blog, and a lot has happened in my life as I have sought to grow and become more like the Warriorpoet I desire to be. I regret I have not shared more of that journey with you, but it has been good to write out what God has taught me thus far, and in so doing, better understand and process the lessons myself.

This blog has been a bit of a coming of age blog for me, as I have become a man, a husband, and a father. Obviously, I have much to grow in still, and much to learn, but this stage of growing into and entering manhood has come and gone, and now I am in the throes of learning to be a man even more than before, and being a good husband and a good father, putting into practice the things I have learned, and learning even more than I expected before. I have found my perspective on things grow and mature (at least, beginning to. I am still not finished!)

Thus, this blog does not quite fit where I am today, but has set the foundation for where I am heading tomorrow. If you wish to join along as I continue to journey, and grow, by all means, please come along! It will certainly be even more of a journey than growing up into manhood and being a warrior poet.

Have I arrived? Am I now a certified Warrior-poet? Not necessarily, for none of us can ever "arrive" until life for us finishes, and we arrive at the finish line. But I am now in a place where I must be a Warrior-poet every day- to my wife, and to my daughter. And, with God's grace, I will continue to become one; growing closer to Him each day.

A Different kind of blog

I realize this blog has puttered out, but I have not given up writing. ;) I have decided to start a different kind of blog about some of my favorite past times. Many of you know that I enjoy crafty things.
